Hi, we're Chris & Jeané Pieterse
We both work full-time jobs in the engineering industry, and we find travelling extremely grounding. We love sharing unique experiences, accommodations, hiking trails and hidden gems in our "back yard".
Having travelled part-time for the past 11 years together, we started showcasing some of the most beautiful destinations in South Africa. We welcomed our baby girl in 2024 and travelling with her, creating such beautiful memories with her, has been the greatest gift of all.
Our community is constantly growing, captivated by travel, unique experiences, beautiful getaways, hidden gems and nature. In the process of sharing our travels we've decided to branch out, helping establishments & brands we love, to grow.
We know how overwhelming it can feel to look for the perfect place, so we plan to list really unique, special gems that we've visited. We published this website to make finding beautiful staycations easier for our fellow travellers.
